Cool Tool Course

In case you had not noticed, there is a new course available that will teach you the fun stuff of coding. How to make cool little control panels and interfaces for your experts or indicators... Just click on the NEW COURSE in the menu above.

I have been making some modifications to the site to try and make it easier to use with my ipad. When viewing a course unit the widgets on the right would sometimes overlay the video making it difficult to expand the video to full screen.

I have moved the big course progress widget to the bottom of the page below the videos in the footer.. also I figured out how to remove the ads on the course unit pages. This gives us a little more real estate on our small devices..

Another problem was that sometimes the video would get about half way through and then stop.. I found a setting that I think may help that problem as well. A setting that will make it buffer much more of the video ahead while playing. I'm hoping that will really make a difference.

Thanks to all of you who are sending me some nice feedback on the feedback page. I hope you are learning what you need to know. I get emails every week from people wanting me to code an EA or indicator for them. I simply don't have the time any more. If you would like to advertise your coding expertise or at least put your name on a page here on the site as someone to contact by those looking for coders.. Just let me know...

IF you have downloaded ea files from level 4 you need to get the latest files. They now include a MagicNumberGenerator that includes numbers for the new CFD contracts that tallinex offers and also make sure you have the latest Market trapper file as there were some unnecessary lines in the EnterTrade() function that I eliminated. I just wanted to let you know that if you have downloaded any ea's from level 4 that you may want to re-download them with the newer file. The reason being that the magic number generator function that those ea's contain has a bug.

There are some combinations possible whereby if you are trading a currency on a daily chart and another currency on a 4 hour chart they could possible generate the same magic number and both be sharing the same trades. If you do not want to download the newer files you can simply go into the MagicNumber Generator function and add a zero. In the function it multiplies the pairNumber by 100. In the newer file it is multiplied by 1000 instead. This will stop the duplication.
